A
Anaemia- A medieval disease that caused low red blood cell count, which therefore caused, paleness, breathing and digestive 
disorders, tiredness and dizziness. To the eyes of onlookers s/he would look like a vampire SEE: Medieval Diseases below 

Astral- An out of body experience, where the mind is elsewhere e.g. a vision, a dream etc. 

Aura- An energy field around your body made of PSI energy 

Autovampirism- Drinking ones own blood to satisfy the craving 

Awakening- Becoming a vampire. But some vampires do not realise their nature and for these vampires awakening is when they 
acknowledge their nature.

Awareness- A type of meditation where when in danger a person notices somehings beyond their natural field of vision, e.g. the 
person can sense what is hapenning behind him/her

Blinking- The act of stopping time whilst still possessing the ability to move 

Blood Bars- Runoured underground abodes to where donors offer their blood. Believed to be part of a secret vampiric community. 

Blood Drawing- SEE: Drawing

Blood Fetishist- Someone who drinks blood for no reason or an addiction for blood

Catalepsy- A medieval disease that cause temporary paralysis. S/he would be buried only to later dig themselves free of their own grave. To onlookers this would look like the dead arising SEE: Medieval Diseases below

Centering- Increasing self-awareness, acknowledging the surrounding energy and controlling it

Chakras- There are seven chakras or energy centers in the body. They are located in the forehead, heart, hands, stomach, along the spine and elsewhere. They are believed to be responsible for the condition of your mind, body and spirit. Most PSI/PSY vampires have weak chakras that will not hold energy properly

Chi/ki energy- Another type of energy. Chi- Chinese, ki- Japanese COMPRE: PSI energy, Prana/Pranic energy

Clairaudience- Heightened hearing, where, not that you can hear things better but to be able to hear other things like a message beyond the grave

Clairvoyance- Heightened vision, where, not that you see things better, you see things that others cannot. Cognition is a type of clairvoyance

Clinical Vampirism- A psychological state where the victim suffers the delusion that they are a fictional vampire and suffer a craving for blood. Usually the victims cut themselves to drink but some go for other people and extremely rarely killing people for blood AKA Renfields Syndrome COMPARE: SMS

Cognition- Is the mental process of acknowledging something. The other uses of cognition (which are types of clairvoyence) are where you see an event that either will happen (precognition) or had already happened (postcognition/ retrocognition) SEE: Clairvoyance, Postcognition/Retrocognition, Precognition

D
Deja-vu-The feeling that you have been somewhere but you are aware that you have not. Basically you have been there in mind but not body

Donor- A person who offers his/her blood/PSI energy to a sanguinarian/PSI vampire

Drawing- Making a cut to draw blood

Dreamwalker- Someone who can enter the dreams of another purposely

Elemental Vampire- A PSI vampire whom absorbs energy from storms and natural objects.

Empathy- The ability to sense feelings mentally and read minds (as PSI/PSY vampires have more brain power they are supposed to be able to do this) COMPARE: Telempathy, Telepathy

Energy Signature- Each person gives a certain vibe with their energy which can be identifiable to him/her

Energy Vampire- Another name for a PSI vampire

Extrasensory Perception(ESP)- An experience or knowledge gained beyond the use of normal senses. Under the aspect of parapsychology in science COMPARE: Deja-Vu, Parapsychology

Fetishist- SEE: Blood Fetish

Flipping- Changing awareness of your range of sight to all around you

Hunter- A person who stalks vampires some times with a pschological condition convinced that vampires must die, but some are mentally stable

Hybrid Vampire- A vampire whom gains both PSI and Pranic (in the blood) energy

Hypnosis- To put someone in a trance which makes them more relaxed and easier to influence him/her to commit an action

Identifying- The act of recognising/sensing an energy siganture.

Lamia- Old word for vampire

Latent Vampire- A vampire unknown to his/her nature.

Leech- A rude word for vampires

Linking- The act of linking with a person for e.g. a telepathic conversation, scanning for energy signatures, sending or receiving images information, sending mental healing etc.

Meditation- There are a few types of meditation; blinking, mesmirism and awareness . Also the analytical and placement meditation

Mentor- An experienced vampire who has awakened another

Mesmirism- The ability of making a person forget about a hard time they have gone through.

Mundane- A polite term for a non-vampiric person

Otherkin- A person who describes themselves as other than human

Parapsychology- The aspect of science which cannot be understood or asigned to a rule of science

Phasing- The control to send your mind to another place.

Porphyria- A rare hereditary (passed from ancestors) medieval disease that stopped the production of heme (a protein that is needed for the structure of hemoglobin). This made them photo-sensitive, allergic to garlic, unable to heal wounds properly, grow lots of hair and the skin around the gums would shrink making the incisors stand out

Postcognition- Also called retrocognition, where you see an event before it actually happens (see below) SEE: Clairvoyance, Cognition, Precognition, Retrocognition

Prana(Pranic energy)- An energy in the blood, another name for life-energy COMPARE: Chi/ki, PSI

Pranic energy- SEE: Prana

Precognition- Foretelling by sensing

PSI(psionic)- relating to anything psychic e.g. PSI phenomena, PSI energy etc. COMPARE: Chi/ki, Prana, PSI Energy, PSI Vampires,

PSI(psionic) Energy- The aura of a person is made of PSI energy. It is linked to the nervous by when there is nervous system activity the PSI is increased. Storms also generate PSI energy COMPARE: Chi/ki, Prana,

PSI(psionic) Vampires- A vampire that mentally extracts PSI energy from a donor without psychic ability COMPARE: PSY vampire

Psyche- The soul spirit or mind

Psychedelic- The state of increased awareness or consciousness

Psychic- Having extrasensory powers

Psychometry- A skill of recieving expressions or images sent by someone

PSY(psychic) Vampires- Psychic vampires are vampires who have psyschic abilities aswell as the skill of absorbing PSI COMPARE: PSI vampire

Pyschical Research- SEE parapsychology

Pyrokinesis- The skill of controlling fire (Not create it)

Retrocognition- A type of cognition (cognition is a type of clairvoyance) where you see something that has happened SEE: Clairvoyance, Cognition, Postcognition, Precognition

Role-Player- A person who has played RPGs (Role-Play Games) and either pretends or confuses the border of reality with fantasy, and are completley fake.

Sanguinarian Vampires- Vampires that drinks blood for the prana energy inside

Scanning- The act of retrieving information about a person, such as conditions, if they are otherkin etc.

SMS- Self-Mutilation Syndrome is where a person feels they need to cut him/her self and watch the wound bleed, and sometimes drink it. COMPARE: Clinical vampirism

Telepathy- being able to communicate mentally (as PSI/PSY vampires have more brain power they are supposed to be able to do this) COMPARE: Empathy, Telempathy,

Telempathy- To be able to send emotions mentally SEE: Empathy, Telepathy

Telekinesis- The skill of moving objects with the mind

Therianthrope- I'm not sure but... An object that can change into an animal form, or that resembles an animal, vampires are believed to theriomorphosize into bats. (definitely not true)

Turning- There is no evidence of this, its is like awakening and is supposed to happen in many ways e.g. biting someone and turning them into a vampire COMPARE:Awakening

Vampdar- A skill that means a vampire knows who a vampire when s/he sees one, by sensing their energy signature. Some argue that each vampire's energy signature is different and senising them would be impossible

Vampire- There are three types that I know; PSI, Psychic and Sanguinarian. Came from Magyar language: vam is blood, and pir is monster.

Vampyre- Another word for vampire
